Welcome to your retreat with Destination Yoga! You deserve this time away, and we are excited for you to join us.
Relax, unwind, and adventure in Costa Rica with myself and a group of incredible people from around the world, all centered around Yoga. You will learn and grow immensely as a Yoga practitioner, and experience Costa Rica in all its richness.
All of the important details for your registration are listed below.
The retreat is limited to a select number of students so spaces are limited.

DEPOSITS & FEES
What’s included
Your retreat package includes six nights of accommodation at Vista Celestial, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, daily yoga and workshops with Josh, a garden-to-table cooking demonstration, a beach bonfire and happy hour, one group outing per day to a local destination, and round-trip group transfers from San José International Airport (SJO). All accommodation taxes and fees are included.
Not included: flights, travel insurance, alcoholic drinks (available for purchase), off-site meals, optional excursions, independent transportation, and personal expenses.
Airport transfers
The group shuttle runs to and from SJO. To join it, your flight must arrive by 2:00pm on April 4 and depart after 1:00pm on April 10. We’ll confirm exact shuttle times closer to the retreat. If your flights fall outside these times, you’ll need to arrange and pay for your own transportation.
Pricing
Your confirmed room and price are dependent on the room choice you made.
Deposit
A $1,000 USD deposit is required to secure your place. If we’re unable to accept your registration, your deposit will be refunded in full, minus any bank or currency conversion fees. Once your registration is accepted, your deposit is non-refundable.
Balance
Your remaining balance is due by February 1, 2027.
Cancellation & refund policy
Our cancellation policy follows that of our host venue, Vista Celestial. Because we reserve and pay for your accommodation and services with the venue on your behalf, we can only offer refunds within the venue’s refund window.
Cancellations received on or before February 2, 2027: full refund of all payments made, excluding your $1,000 deposit.
Cancellations received after February 2, 2027: no refund is possible.
All cancellations must be made in writing to info@destinationyoga.com.
If you cancel after February 2, we’ll try to fill your place from our waiting list. If we can, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion, minus administration fees. This isn’t guaranteed.
Late arrivals and early departures
No refunds are given for nights missed because of late arrival, early departure, or travel delays. Your room will be held for you for the full retreat.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance with cancellation coverage to protect your investment against unexpected changes of plans or travel disruptions.
Events beyond our control
If the retreat can’t go ahead because of events outside our control (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or the venue being unavailable), we’ll work with Vista Celestial to either reschedule the retreat or refund payments for services not delivered.

To secure your place on the retreat, please pay your $1,000 USD deposit by bank transfer using the details below.
Please make sure we receive the full $1,000 USD after any bank or conversion fees. If we receive less, the difference will be added to your balance.
Once you’ve paid, please email a copy of your transfer confirmation to info@destinationyoga.com, and include your full name as the payment reference so we can match the payment to you.
If you’re paying your full balance at once, $1,000 of that payment will count as your deposit.

All prices are in US dollars. If you’re paying from another currency, any bank or currency conversion fees are your responsibility.
We recommend booking flights with flexible change policies and purchasing travel insurance with cancellation coverage.
THIRD
TRAVEL INFORMATION & DOCUMENTS
Passport:
You’ll need a valid passport to enter Costa Rica. We recommend it be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date, since some airlines check for this. You’ll also need proof of your return or onward flight. Visa requirements depend on your nationality, so please check the rules for your country before booking.
Travel insurance:
We strongly recommend travel medical insurance. It’s inexpensive and easy to buy online, either with your flight or separately. We also recommend travel insurance that covers flight changes, cancellations, and disruptions.
The retreat begins on Sunday, April 4, 2027, and ends on Saturday, April 10, 2027.
A complimentary group shuttle will run from San José International Airport (SJO) to Vista Celestial and back. To join it:
Arrive at SJO by 2:00pm on April 4
Depart SJO after 1:00pm on April 10
The drive to Uvita takes a couple of hours, and we’ll confirm exact shuttle times closer to the retreat. If your flights fall outside these times, you’ll need to arrange and pay for your own transportation, and we’re happy to suggest options.
If you’re traveling a long way, consider arriving in San José the night before so you’re rested for the shuttle. Accommodation outside the retreat dates isn’t included. We are happy to walk you through this process to make it as smooth as possible for you.
