Tuscany, Italy. 200hr Yoga Teacher Training

Aug 27 to Sept 12, 2026

Why Choose Destination Yoga?

This is not just a yoga training—it is a process of learning how to see, practice, and teach with clarity.

Set in the landscape of Tuscany, the experience combines disciplined study with immersive practice, preparing you to teach with structure, precision, and purpose.

With decades of dedicated practice, Josh brings both depth and clarity to his teaching. This is not about information—it’s about learning how to apply it.

You’ll be guided with precision, structure, and attention to detail throughout the training.

❋ Led with Experience

The environment is not a backdrop—it is part of the experience.

Set in Tuscany, the space allows for immersion, focus, and consistency in your practice.

❋ A Setting That Supports Practice

This training goes beyond physical postures.
You’ll study the principles that underpin practice—giving context, depth, and direction to how and why you teach.

❋ Rooted in Philosophy

You’ll train alongside a group committed to learning, not just participating.

The environment is focused, supportive, and built for growth.

❋ A Serious, Supportive Community

This training is for those who
want more than just an experience.

It is for those who want to understand
how to practice with clarity,
how to teach with precision,
and how to
develop a method that lasts beyond the training itself.

You’ll be guided through a structured process that challenges how you see movement, breath, and practice.

This is not about accumulating information.
It is about
refining your ability to apply it.

If you’re ready to commit to that process, we invite you to apply.

Not all trainings are created equal.

Where practice becomes understanding—and teaching becomes precise.

This is where your practice becomes something you can teach.

For those who want to understand, not just perform.

A method, not a style. A process, not an experience.

Destination Yoga

200hr Yoga Teacher Training

This training is designed to develop more than your ability to move.

It is a process of learning how to see clearly— how to understand practice, and how to teach with structure, precision, and intention.

Set in Tuscany, the environment supports immersion.
But the focus is the work: consistent practice, thoughtful study, and applied understanding.

Over the course of the training, your relationship to yoga will evolve—
not through novelty, but through refinement.

What sets this training apart

1. A Method, Not a Style
You won’t be taught what to teach—you’ll learn how to think.
The training is grounded in the Destination Yoga Method, giving you a framework you can apply long after the program ends.

2. Precision in Practice and Teaching
We place a strong emphasis on alignment, language, and sequencing.
You’ll develop the ability to see, assess, and communicate clearly.

3. Rooted in Tradition, Applied Practically
The training draws from the classical lineage of modern yoga, while remaining relevant to contemporary practice.
Philosophy is not abstract—it informs how you practice and how you teach.

4. A Structured, Progressive Approach
This is not a collection of classes.
The training is designed as a progression—each part building on the last.

5. A Focused Learning Environment
You’ll train alongside a group committed to learning, not just attending.
The environment supports discipline, consistency, and growth.

This is not about becoming a different version of yourself.

It is about refining what is already there — and developing the clarity to share it.

Program Curriculum

This training is designed to develop both your personal practice and your ability to teach.

Rather than presenting disconnected topics, the curriculum is structured as a progression—each component building on the last. You will learn not only what to teach, but how to think about practice, movement, and instruction.

You will receive a comprehensive training manual and work through a system that integrates asana, breathwork, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching methodology into a cohesive framework.
This is a comprehensive training—not because of the volume of information, but because of how it is structured and applied.

Where You Will Stay

Your home for this 16-day all-inclusive training will be a charming, family-run property in the heart of Tuscany—surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and the golden light this region is known for.

Set within an ancient stone farmhouse tucked among gentle green hills, Olos Logos offers the perfect escape to deepen your practice and reconnect with yourself. You’ll awaken to birdsong and the scent of olive trees, step into the light-filled shala for morning practice, wander woodland trails, share nourishing meals, and rest by the pool—all in a place that blends authentic simplicity with profound renewal.

Located about an hour from Florence and close to the historic town of Arezzo, the property offers a range of accommodations, each with its own rustic Tuscan charm. We’ll have both private and shared room options, creating a warm home environment shared with a group of like-minded yogis as we learn, explore, and grow together.

Throughout this training, you’ll dive deeper into both the study and lived experience of yoga. Together we’ll explore sequencing, pose breakdowns, basic anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, assists and adjustments, teaching skills, creative expression, and more. My goal is to help you understand the roots of yoga while empowering you to think independently and develop your own personal style. You will leave feeling confident, supported, and grounded in your new knowledge.

Come and journey with us. We’ll enjoy beautiful Italian meals, build lifelong friendships, and experience some of the magic that Italy has to offer.

What People Are Saying

“I came on this TT last minute (and was very fortunate to be able to!) and have zero regrets about changing my plans in order to make the TT work. It was my own fault for not applying sooner, so I encourage anyone and everyone reading this to APPLY NOW. The 3 teachers are very experienced and will give you the guidance that you need to start teaching, and/or the encouragement to deepen and understand your practice. Very early on in the TT, we were asked to teach our peers and this was at first nerve-wracking but ultimately provided a lot of confidence for me personally, as we continued to teach daily for the rest of the training. I also had the opportunity to meet and hang out with the sweetest bunch of people during the two weeks and the whole experience was so worth it. Whether you're thinking of teaching in the future, just want to learn more about yoga or build your own personal practice, I would without a doubt recommend this TT. Did I mention that the food on this TT was also excellent?

— Julianna

“I had the most amazing time during my 200h YTT… Together with 14 other like-minded and incredibly fun students we spent 16 days in between the vineyards of beautiful Tuscany practicing yoga, discussing philosophy, teaching our own classes, but also indulging in the Italian dolce vita with delicious food (pizza night!), wine tastings and the most beautiful Tuscan sunsets. Due to the small group size, each and every one of us was individually challenged and supported, so that I did not only improve my personal practice tremendously, but also feel genuinely confident teaching yoga classes now...”

— Jasmin

“There are a lot of things that I want to say about the training but the main thought that encompasses all the others is that I'm so glad that I did it. It was a fantastic experience and I'm glad that I had the chance to share it with such a great group of people. Honestly, I was so scared to do this training at the beginning but you treated us like family and I want to thank you for that. The classes were great (I went to a class here in trento... And guys I miss yours 😂) and I learned so much, my practice and my knowledge had grown a lot. More than anything I'm grateful because you passed me a lot of passion and now I want to know even more about yoga and i'm studying a lot. So at the end I can really say thank you and continue to do these trainings because people need experiences like that! Hope that we will meet again soon, I really miss the three of you and all the group!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We welcome all ages with open arms. We have had students in their teens join, as well as others in their 70's. Age becomes an irrelevant factor, and you will find that you develop friendships with people irrespective of age. The only factor we ask you to consider, is your level of energy. Days are long and can be quite demanding. You are always welcome to take time to rest as you need it, but please keep this in mind.

  • We completely understand this concern! Once you arrive at the venue, you will feel completely looked after and it definitely won't feel like you are traveling solo anymore. That being said, taking the leap to travel from the comfort of your home to somewhere foreign like Italy can be quite scary. We are happy to work with you individually to help make sure you have taken all the right steps, and feel supported from your doorstep, to your Yoga mat. In certain instances, we may be able to connect you with other students traveling from your same location so that you have a travel buddy. We are also able to connect you with travel advisories to help you with booking any flights and transport.

  • We understand that many people have dietary requirements, and it can be a challenge to have meals outside of your home. Our trainings and retreats are catered by the host accommodation, and we will provide them with your dietary needs. We must ensure that you let us know in advance of any restrictions so that we can work with you on them.

  • We are happy to offer personalized payment plans to work with your needs. The only requirement is that you pay an initial deposit in order to secure your spot on the training/retreat. Send us a message and ask us about a payment plan to suit you.

  • Upon successful completion of the training, you will receive a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certificate. This is valid throughout the world, and it will be up to you if you choose to register yourself on Yoga Alliance which will incur an additional fee. This is optional as certain employers may require you to register.

There will be additional requirements after the training is complete that you will be invited to undertake. If you complete these successfully, you will be eligible for an additional Destination Yoga Method (DYM) certification. This is not affiliated with Yoga Alliance and is a stand-alone certificate to demonstrate your level of teaching proficiency under the Destination Yoga teaching method.

  • Unless otherwise specified, we tend to limit our training capacity to between 15-22 students. This is done intentionally to ensure a high standard of quality and to ensure you are able to receive adequate attention from the lead teacher without being lost in the crowd.

  • Keep practicing! We recommend that you practice with Josh online to familiarize yourself with his teaching style. Having an established regular practice will help you get used to the regular practice on the training. In terms of study, we do not expect you to have any base level knowledge of Yoga philosophy, history etc. This will all be taught to you during the course.

  • On trainings, we do an Asana practice twice daily - once in the morning, and once in the evening. In addition to this, throughout the day you will often be moving as you practice teach, study anatomy etc. It is very normal that during the training your body will feel exhausted. You are invited to "observe" sessions if you feel like you need a break from the movement.

  • This is a Yoga Teacher Training, and so the focus is first and foremost on Yoga. We spend the majority of our days immersed in practice, study, learning to teach and more. That being said, these trainings give you ample time to have fun and enjoy the destination you are in. During busy teaching days, that might look like a run down to the beach or pool for a dip during lunch, or going to a sunset restaurant as a group after classes. On our scheduled days off you are free to do as you want, or join us for a planned group excursion such as a yacht snorkeling trip or wine tasting. You will work hard, you will completely immerse yourself in all aspects of Yoga, but you will also have an amazing time with your community.
